One of the oldest secular social and charitable organisations in the world, modern Freemasonry’s roots lie in the traditions of the medieval stonemasons who built our castles and cathedrals…
The lodge has held several social events such as witnessing the Tower of London Keys ceremony a lady’s festival at a hotel usually outside of London that provides opportunity for our families to enjoy the company that these types of events provide. Importantly we maintain links with the regiment and serving soldiers.
Delve into the rich traditions of Freemasonry as we gather to celebrate our shared values and principles
Our meetings are held on the 1st Saturday of March, June, September and December, at 60 Great Queen Street, London WC2B 5AZ. they usually start at 11am thus providing members ample time to travel to London to join the meetings. The June meeting is the installation meeting.
The Parachute Regiment Lodge was consecrated on 5th June 1989. Though named for our Regiment the decision was taken not to restrict membership to serving or former members, though the majority do fit that criteria. Our membership is drawn from a wide range of military, security and civilian backgrounds who all adopt our ethos, to be the best in all that we do…
Engage in enlightening discussions, partake in meaningful rituals, and forge lasting connections with fellow brethren

Being a military lodge it is also a member of the Circuit of Service Lodges, our meetings are held on the 1st Saturday of March, June, September and December, our June meeting is our installation meeting at which a new Worshipful Master is installed for the new season.
Our meetings are held at 60 Great Queen Street, London WC2B 5AZ and usually begin at 11am.
The Circuit of Service Lodges comprises 56 Lodges with a distinguishable military culture. Visiting other Lodges and receiving visitors is important to freemasonry and it enhances your experience. Therefore, we regularly receive a large number of visitors, including regular visitors from the Royal Marines, Globe and Laurel Lodge, which can make for lively ‘conversation’ at our festive boards.
We are a thriving lodge with over 65 members and our meetings are well attended, the membership is drawn from a varied array of professionals with many having served or serving in the Parachute Regiment and Airborne forces and from the wider military, however this is not exclusive, and we have several non-military members who all make up the brotherhood of the lodge.
Freemasonry is often described as a “journey of discovery” and when a Mason has completed the early stages of his development, he is free to join the other Orders in Freemasonry. The Royal Arch is acknowledged as the most important of these additional steps. In England and Wales, there is an indissoluble link with Craft Freemasonry, with the Royal Arch being considered the completion of a Freemason’s Journey through “Pure Ancient Masonry”.
The Parachute Regiment Chapter No 9315 provides the opportunity for members to continue there Masonic Journey through the Royal Arch, indeed several lodge members are members and it meets on the 4th Saturday in March, June and September with June being the installation meeting.
