Parachute Regiment Lodge 9315

Charities benefit from Imperial Cadet Lodges Centenary Ladies Gala

One of the oldest secular social and charitable organisations in the world, modern Freemasonry’s roots lie in the traditions of the medieval stonemasons who built our castles and cathedrals…

The lodge has held several social events such as witnessing the Tower of London Keys ceremony a lady’s festival at a hotel usually outside of London that provides opportunity for our families to enjoy the company that these types of events provide. Importantly we maintain links with the regiment and serving soldiers.

Delve into the rich traditions of Freemasonry as we gather to celebrate our shared values and principles

WHERE WE MEET

Our meetings are held on the 1st Saturday of March, June, September and December, at 60 Great Queen Street, London WC2B 5AZ. they usually start at 11am thus providing members ample time to travel to London to join the meetings.  The June meeting is the installation meeting.

The Parachute Regiment Lodge was consecrated on 5th June 1989. Though named for our Regiment the decision was taken not to restrict membership to serving or former members, though the majority do fit that criteria. Our membership is drawn from a wide range of military, security and civilian backgrounds who all adopt our ethos, to be the best in all that we do…

Engage in enlightening discussions, partake in meaningful rituals, and forge lasting connections with fellow brethren

The I-Rock drop in centre which supports young people with mental health issues and the Royal
Marsden Hospital each received £750 from the proceeds of a raffle and auction held at the Imperial
Cadet Lodge’s Centenary Ladies Festival which took place at The Langham Hotel in Eastbourne
recently and attended by 92 members, their ladies and guests.

The Centenary Master of the Lodge, W Bro. Colin Pearce and his Lady, Tatyana, are keen supporters
of both charities. In her speech Tatyana spoke moving about the excellent work being done by both
Charities. Said Tatyana, “The I. Rock recently won a prestigious award for their partnership working
and co-production successes. I-Rock is a place where young people can seek support for mental
health issues, wellbeing, housing, employment and education. And the Royal Marsden Hospital, the
world’s first hospital dedicated to cancer diagnosis, treatment research and education, has touched
the lives of so many Freemasons and their families”.

W Bro. Pearce added, “I am proud to be the Worshipful Master of this fine Lodge in what is their
Centenary year. I am delighted that so many members, their partners and friends have supported
the Lodge on this special occasion and their generosity will make a big impact on the lives of so
many”

Founded by officers of London and Provincial Cadet Battalions in October 1917, The Imperial Cadet
Lodge has been a major charity supporter donating £8000 to the recent Tercentenary Fund and
£10,000 to the current London Fire Brigade Appeal.
