Parachute Regiment Lodge 9315

Kent Club makes donation towards the London Fire Brigade Appeal

One of the oldest secular social and charitable organisations in the world, modern Freemasonry’s roots lie in the traditions of the medieval stonemasons who built our castles and cathedrals…

The lodge has held several social events such as witnessing the Tower of London Keys ceremony a lady’s festival at a hotel usually outside of London that provides opportunity for our families to enjoy the company that these types of events provide. Importantly we maintain links with the regiment and serving soldiers.

Delve into the rich traditions of Freemasonry as we gather to celebrate our shared values and principles

WHERE WE MEET

Our meetings are held on the 1st Saturday of March, June, September and December, at 60 Great Queen Street, London WC2B 5AZ. they usually start at 11am thus providing members ample time to travel to London to join the meetings.  The June meeting is the installation meeting.

The Parachute Regiment Lodge was consecrated on 5th June 1989. Though named for our Regiment the decision was taken not to restrict membership to serving or former members, though the majority do fit that criteria. Our membership is drawn from a wide range of military, security and civilian backgrounds who all adopt our ethos, to be the best in all that we do…

Engage in enlightening discussions, partake in meaningful rituals, and forge lasting connections with fellow brethren

On Friday 20th September 2019 at Freemasons Hall, The Worshipful Master of Balham Park Lodge No.6955, W Bro Seirios Kokkalis welcomed more than 30 members and guests, including Metropolitan Grand Inspector, W Bro David Bailey, PSGD.

Following an impressive Raising ceremony, the Worshipful Master, as Charity Steward of the Kent Club, presented W Bro David Bailey with a cheque of £2,500 as a donation towards the Metropolitan Grand Master’s London Fire Brigade Appeal. The money was raised, and collected by the members of the Kent Club, after a small team, including W Bro Seirios, ran the Greek Marathon in Athens on the 11th November 2018. The Greek Marathon was organised to coincide with, and commemorate, the centenary of the Armistice, marking the conclusion of the 1st World War.

The Metropolitan Grand Inspector was escorted by MetAGSuptWks W Bro Tony Registe, LGR.

The Kent Club, for London Freemasons, organises social events for Masons and their families.

Founded in 2010 and named in honour of The Most Worshipful the Grand Master, His Royal Highness, The Duke of Kent, it encourages friendship and companionship amongst like-minded brethren, from the newly initiated to the most senior. The Club is not a Lodge; regalia is not worn and events range in formality from impromptu get-togethers for drinks to formal black-tie dinners at prestigious London venues.
